It is hard to believe that half of 2015 is almost gone. The year has been busy for me and Hot Springs Village in general for real estate. Prices are generally lower per square foot than other parts of the country and with interest rates still low, now is a good time to buy. There are lake front homes available in the Village for under $300K.

There have been more than 200 homes sold this year with over 60 now under contract and 440 still on the market to choose from. I can show and sell any of them.

The "2015 Profile on Home Staging" released by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) has some very enlightening results to report on which rooms are critical to emphasize.

Let's examine the top five rooms that buyers want to see, in the order of importance.

  1. The Living Room. This is the centerpiece of most homes and provides the clearest emotional connection.
  2. The Kitchen. Kitchens are often the priciest room in a home. Use
    carefully curated highlights such as an open cookbook, or bottles of oil

  3. The Master Bedroom. Buyers are attracted to master bedrooms that appear spacious, calm, neat and elegant. For home staging, the master bedroom

Finally, you will also want to pay attention to guest bedrooms to ensure that they are equally warm and welcoming. Rhythm Jam Sunday, June 21, 2015 1:00 p.m. Grove Park - 1105 Desoto Boulevard This event is free. Rhythm Jams provide an opportunity for musicians, singers, and listeners to gather and share various genres of music, musical instruments, and the history behind the music. These jams are open to all ages, skill levels and instruments that are non amplified. Please bring copies of music to share and your own chair.
