Rhythm Jam Woodlands - Get ready to play. Jams are open to musicians of all ages and skill levels playing non-amplified instruments. These acoustical jams bring together musicians, singers, and neighbors to play, listen and learn more about various types of music, musical instruments and the history behind the music. Golf and Recreation Informational Expo:

The Golf and Recreation Expo is set for Monday, Feb. 23 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Coronado Community Center. The Expo will feature informational booths on golf leagues, special golf programs for the physically challenged, junior golf, ASGA and AWGA, GHIN handicapping, and golf lessons. Golf equipment vendors will be on site to showcase new products. In addition, the event will showcase a wide variety of recreation options including tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, lawn bowling, paddleboarding and kayaking, as well as, classes available at the Coronado Fitness Center. The Musical Note:

Jackie B and Me returns to Coronado Community Center on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m., after reaching the semi-finals of the Memphis International Blues Competition. Jackie and Larry competed against over 250 groups from around the world. Their original music, voices, and performance makes them one of the very best blues acts in the competition. Jackie Beaumont and Larry Womack play music from various genres from Pop, Country, Jazz, Blues, and 40's until the present. Come out and enjoy this free event.

Petit Jean Hike: Basecamp and The Ouachita Mountain Hikers (OMH) will hike the scenic Cedar Creek Loop and Bear Cave Loop trails in Petit Jean State Park on Saturday, Feb. 28. Members of OMH will lead the hike of approximately 4.5 miles of moderate to difficult (in a few spots) terrain. The group will meet at the Ponce de Leon Center lobby at 7:00 a.m. and caravan to Petit Jean State Park. Sign up at Contact Michael Bynaker at 501-922-0322 for more information.

Bicycle Lanes: Bicycles and bicycle riders are an active and growing part of our community. The new bicycle-lane stencils installed along DeSoto Blvd. are just one of the many efforts HSV is making to ensure the safety of bicyclists by alerting motorists that bicycles are on our road ways. Additional signage is also planned for installation along Desoto Boulevard and other major roads to remind drivers to 'Share the Road' with bicycle riders.

Online Medical Directory:

The POA will publish a new online Medical Services Directory, listing physicians and medical services available in Hot Springs Village, as well as providers in nearby cities. The directory will be provided for informational purposes only.

Newcomers' Coffee: A Newcomer's Coffee is set for Thursday, Feb. 26 at 9:00 a.m. in the Ouachita Activities Building of the Ponce de Leon Center located at 1100 Desoto Blvd. Coffee and donuts will be available at 8:30 a.m. and presentations will begin at 9:00 a.m. The meeting gives new residents an opportunity to learn about the Property Owners' Association, organizations and activities in Hot Springs Village. The Newcomers Coffee is held once a month.

Secure Access for First Responders: Secure Access for First Responders' (SAFFR®) new service offers Rescue Key Safes to residents to be used exclusively by emergency first responders to gain prompt access to homes without having to break a window or break through a door, when you are unable to get to the door.
