26,000 Acres in the Ouachita Mountains

(15 miles from west to east)

Hot Springs Village is the “Largest Gated Community” in America, and

it has much to offer its residents. Many of the residents call Hot Springs

Village “The Best Kept Secret” in which to live, retire, and rear a family.

There too many amenities in which to list, but here are a few: 9 golf courses,

11 lakes, performing arts center, 24 miles of hiking trails, tennis & pickle

ball courts, fitness center, 2 pools (1 indoor & 1 outdoor) , lawn bowling,

bocce ball plus 200+ clubs and organizations.

Hot Springs Village has a total of six electronic gates, including two

manned gates. The Village has its own police force, fireman, 24/7 paid,

along with 3 ambulances & paramedics. These factors give residents a safe

and secure feeling.

I am often asked about the medical facilities. The medical services are

outstanding, especially since St. Vincent (Little Rock) and St. Joe Mercy

(Hot Springs) merged in the spring of 2014. National Park Hospital is also

located in Hot Springs. Full-time physicians, clinics, rehabilitation centers,

eye doctors, and dentists are located in Hot Springs Village.

The Village is located about 50 miles from Little Rock and 14 miles

from Hot Springs. The surrounding area of Hot Springs is full of unique,

wonderful activities: botanical garden, malls, art galleries, convention

center, many restaurants, riverboat rides, Lakes Hamilton, Catherine,

& Ouachita, Oaklawn Horse Racing Track & Casino, Magic Springs

Amusement Park, natural springs’ drinking water. Also in downtown Hot

Springs is Bath House Row. Go through the museum that traces the history

of the Baths or have a massage & take a bath in the Buckstaff Bath House, a

working spa.

With all of this, plus much more, you will understand why Arkansas is

called the Natural State.
